Funny and Romantic
(This is a review of the anime, not any dvd set):
Maid Sama is a cute, funny and romantic anime. The story follows Misaki, a student at a high-school that has recently been changed from an "all male" school to a co-ed school. Therefore the number of female students at the high-school is low. Misaki takes it upon herself to defend those few female students and to make the environment comfortable for them, hence she becomes the president of the student council.
After school Misaki secretly works at a cafe called "Maid Latte" where all the waitresses dress like maids. Misaki has to work because her family (mother and younger sister) are really poor.
Enter Usui, a mysterious and handsome guy in the school who discovers Misaki's secret (that she works as a maid after school), and who starts teasing her and hanging around her all the time after that. Even though Misaki complains about his presence constantly, yet Usui always protects Misaki and comes to her...
Nice Anime
For anyone who loves comedy,romance and some drama this is the series for you. This anime has great characters and great romance and it is funny.This is such a good series I recommend to anyone who loves this genre.Do not take anything away from the series because it doesnt have an english dub. I prefer my anime in japanese with subtitles and never watched dubbed.
Very pleased
I am very pleased because I have watched anime in both English and Japanese dubbed. I am accustomed to both so I do not mind either as far as English vs Japanese dub.
1. This will come in Japanese but, subbed in English.
2. The picture and sound quality are great.
3. The case it came in however, was not the best...sure it was in a case that was theme'd maid sama but, imagine a longer pole type of deal with all 5 discs on top of another ( disc quality was fine) this can be hazardous for those who like to treat their merchandise well. The discs should be separated instead of stacked onto a pile of one.
